AOW Hawk Talk
February 3
Welcome to February! We are proud to celebrate Black History Month at AoW! We have many fantastic activities and events planned! We will conclude the month of celebration with our Motown Revue where we highlight all the wonderful musical talent that has come from the city of Detroit!
Our winter NWEA testing is still ongoing. Please encourage your children to get a good night’s rest and come prepared and focused to do their very best!
We will have our first parent Hawk Talk on Wednesday, February 5 from 9:30-10:00 AM in the black box theatre. Come out for light refreshments and get updates on all the great things happening at the school!
Attendance is very important for learning. We need your help in making school attendance a major priority. The more we are in school…the more we can learn and grow. Join us in making attendance a top priority at AoW! #aowattendance.
AOW will celebrate the outstanding achievements of our fall athletes at our students-only awards breakfast on Thursday, February 6 at 8:30 AM! We are so proud of our student-athletes!
Remember to promote and practice our school norms:
