Please join us for Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, March 5th, from 4:00-6:00 PM. Please use the sign up sheet below to sign up for a time with your child's(ren) teacher(s).
The Scholastic Book Fair will also be open during conferences, and will be located in the Library.

Gleaners mobile food pantry will be at Academy of Warren on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM. The mobile pantry includes 30 lbs of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh milk, whole grains and lean proteins. Each family also receives healthy recipes and nutrition information.
AOW Re-Enrollment has started! You will need your parent username and password in order to log in. If you have forgotten your login, you must obtain this information in person, in your child's specific grade level office- Elementary (K-2), Upper Elementary (3-6), or Building B (7-8). This information will not be given over the phone.
To re-enroll:
1. Click on the Parent Portal link: https://ps.aow.misd.net/public
2. On the left-hand side, click on 'Forms', then click on 'Enrollment Tab'. This is where the re-enrollment forms will be located.
The PowerSchool mobile app is also available for Android and iOS devices. Academy of Warren's district code is: PFML

March is Reading Month and the Academy is looking forward to celebrating the vast richness of African American authors and illustrators. We will continue to celebrate our heritage in the month of March. Be sure to join us for our annual Reading Fair on Thursday, March 6 from 4-5:30 PM in the sports dome. There will be music, books, activities, and fun for all! Come out and enjoy!

Welcome to February! We are proud to celebrate Black History Month at AoW! We have many fantastic activities and events planned! We will conclude the month of celebration with our Motown Revue where we highlight all the wonderful musical talent that has come from the city of Detroit!
Our winter NWEA testing is still ongoing. Please encourage your children to get a good night’s rest and come prepared and focused to do their very best!

Forgotten Harvest is hosting a Pop-Up Pantry at Academy of Warren on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 10:00AM-12:00PM, or until all food has been distributed. This event is open to all community members.
